The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Enoch Adeboye, and his wife Pastor Folu Adeboye, are celebrating their 59th wedding anniversary.
On September 8, many Nigerians took to social media to celebrate the couple, whom many see as an example of kingdom marriages. Their longevity and ability to manage marital issues privately have caused many people to see them as a beacon of hope, considering the increasing rate of divorce.
While celebrating the couple, Nigerian investment coach Dr. Stephen Akintayo wrote on Facebook, “59 years of love, legacy, and God’s faithfulness. 59 years of walking together, choosing each other, navigating different seasons, sharing joy and challenges, building a family and remaining committed through it all. This is not just an anniversary. This is a testimony.”
