Excitement rented the air as Nollywood actor, Jidekene Achufusi, announced that he has done his Igba Nkwu, which seals his traditional marriage to his bride, Ife.
Igba Nkwu literally translates to “wine carrying” in English. It is the Igbo traditional marriage ceremony (Igba Nkwu Nwanyi) where the bride, during the ceremony, holds a cup of palm wine and searches for her groom among the guests, finally kneeling to offer him the drink to signify her acceptance and seals the marriage.

The movie star rocked a green Igbo-themed cultural outfit, which was complemented with neck beads and a matching cap.
His bride gave fashion lovers something to talk about as she turned up in a classy green dress and a well-laced hair which made her a cynosure of eyes.
