Fashion was on display as the Olu of Warri’s wife, Olori Atuwatse III, marked her 40th birthday today, May 22. The beautiful queen shared how she felt celebrating the milestone age with some stunning photos of herself.
In the photos, she rocked several colours of designer outfits – from contemporary to traditional attires, which exuded royalty and made her the cynosure of eyes.
On Instagram, Olori Atuwatse III wrote, “There is a place in God where every layer falls away, and only truth remains. This season has drawn me there. Naked and unashamed before the Father. seen. known and fully yielded, have fully learned that rest is born from oneness with God.
“In that place, striving loses its voice, fear has no authority, and the soul finds its proper posture in surrender. To stand before Him without pretence is a gift. To be held by His grace through every season is mercy. To know that every part of my life is safest in His hands is peace.”
Speaking about her wishes for her new age, she said, “As I step into this new chapter, my heart bears one prayer: that my life remains fully aligned with His will, that my steps stay ordered by His wisdom, and that every expression that flows from me continues to reflect His purpose on the earth. Her husband also celebrated her with a heartfelt post on his social media pages. The Olu of Warri shared some gorgeous pictures of his wife and said, “My Love, Today, as heaven marks your 40th year, my heart overflows with gratitude to God for the extraordinary gift that you are, to me, to our children, to the Warri Kingdom, to Africa, and to every life privileged to encounter your light.
