Nollywood actress and filmmaker, Iyabo Ojo, made the news after her latest movie The Return of Arinzo broke cinema record last weekend.
The star-studded film, which is being distributed by Film One Entertainment, has grossed N104.8m as at Sunday, April 5, 2026. With the performance of this blockbuster, it becomes the biggest Easter opening and the highest-grossing film of the weekend.
Iyabo Ojo didn’t just produce a movie, her dedication to publicity and making the film to be on the lips of Nigerians paid off for her.
Aside from the 48-year-old mother-of-two, other notable cast in the movie are Funke Akindele, Mercy Aigbe, Chioma Ikokwu (aka Chioma Goodhair), and Enioluwa Adeoluwa, among others.
