The remains of the late Nollywood actor, Alex Ekubo, has been taken to his home town in Arockukwu, Abia State, on Wednesday , June 17, 2926. His corpse, which was carried in a hearse, was escorted by his family, friends, and associates.
It was a solemn moment for many on ground as they cried and mourned the deceased. Ekubo’s younger sister could not contain her pain as she struggled to catch up with the hearse which had some people in it holding the late actor’s pictures.
A wake-keep was held for him and it was a moment for his loved ones to pay tributes to him. Some of the notable people at the event were IK Ogbonna, Yomi Casual, Mike Godson, Mabel Makun, Ayo Makun Kunle Remi, Nancy Isime, Ini Edo, and Bimbo Ademoye.
Attendees wore black shirts with Alex Ekubo’s face on it, and a matching cap with the word “Ikuku” crested on it, which was a name the late movie star was fondly called.
Arochukwu felt the presence of their late son as his dead body was taken to his father’s compound and the palace of his traditional leader. Many fans have noted that the deceased will surely be missed by those who were close to him, and they prayed that God will grant them the fortitude to bear the loss.
