Tems is set to take the FIFA stage in July, joining Doja Cat and J Balvin for the first-ever halftime performance at a FIFA Club World Cup Final. This marks a shift in how the tournament is experienced, blending football and music on a global platform.

The show, curated by Chris Martin of Coldplay, will support the FIFA Global Citizen Education Fund. This initiative aims to raise $100 million to expand access to education and youth football programmes. By bringing artists from different continents, the performance signals a wider ambition: using culture to push impact.

Tems described the upcoming show as a moment of unity. “We’re going to bring the world together for a beautiful moment – to celebrate football, feel the unity that music brings, and improve the lives of millions of children through the FIFA Global Citizen Education Fund. I can’t wait – see you at the FIFA Club World Cup final!” she said.

FIFA President Gianni Infantino called the partnership with Global Citizen a turning point. “Together, we’re going to make history on a special occasion where football and music unite the world,” he said. He added, “FIFA and Global Citizen are partnering to support a powerful cause: giving every child the chance to learn, play and dream. This show will be unforgettable – not just for its spectacle, but for the lasting impact it will make.”

The performance highlights a shift in the global football narrative—one that brings sport and social purpose closer together.
