Portable slams Peller over his wedding invite.

Controversial Nigerian singer Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has triggered opinions online after he reacted to the wedding invite he got from streamer Hamzat Habeeb Adelaja, aka Peller.

Peller had reached out to the ZaZoo Zeh hitmaker via his Instagram DM to invite him for his wedding, which is set to hold on August 1, 2026.

According to Portable, the method was disrespectful because he visited other people in their homes to invite them for his wedding to fellow streamer Elizabeth Aminata Amodou, aka Jarvis. He added that he should be paid to attend the ceremony because he has a show on that day.

While inviting Portable to his wedding, Peller said, “Omolalomi, we’re specially inviting you to our wedding. We need someone like you at our wedding because you’re a star.”

In his response, Portable fumed, “You’re a spoilt child. Is it not you, Habeeb, that I built? I was among the people that posted you so people could know you. Normally, you and your wife are supposed to bring the Aso-Ebi to my house and specially invite me as the father-in-law. I’m your elder brother.”

The singer requested that he should be paid to attend Peller’s wedding, adding that asoebi should not have been sold to everyone because it will make the wedding to look like a political rally. He also shared how he wanted to be invited.

Portable continued, “I’m a superstar, a musician. Use money to call me. August 1, I already have a show that I’ve been paid for, so should I now come to your wedding for free?

“Use money to call me. Is it through phone you will invite me? If I want to give you a cow now, will you collect it through phone? That’s disrespectful.”

Several netizens agreed that Peller should have invited Portable in a more honorable way while others stated that both of them would handle the issue amicably and Portable would still grace the occasion.
